Sunday in the Park

Sunday was an amazing day in DC. Some friends and I headed down to the mall (as in the National Mall, not the kind you go shop at) and were instantly greeted by flowers and people everywhere! Katie and I decided that there should be two lanes on sidewalks, one for slow tourists who look up every 5 seconds, and the other for those who are capable of walking at a normal pace.

We camped out on the mall for a few hours, playing Frisbee, people watching, drinking diet coke, and sunburning my nose.

Next we went to the tidal basin where all the cherry blossoms are blooming. It was like you had to line up to take a photo with the blossoms because there were about 50 people to every tree. We managed to dominate this one!

More pics here.

Bree you need your own BreeLane...because you walk at a Bree-pace. But then your friends look very tall so they might also fall into the Bree-pace catergory. The weather looks wonderful! Hope to talk to you soon! Miss you!!!
